Welcome to Heartbreak

Welcome to my new Blog, I will try and update this as much as possible with a view to showcase my photography work as time goes by. Kicking off with a trip to the London Wetlands centre with my good friend Jack, followed by a shoot at Kew Gardens.

WETLANDS SHOOT

For the wetlands shoot i met Jack on a very cold and grey day. I took along my 7D with a 70-200mm lens on it, my 6D with a 135mm and my 5D MK iii with a 35mm on. I was also going to use my tripod which i had taken with me but forgot to pack the bit that connects a camera to the mount so walked around with it all afternoon for no reason. Anyway here are a few that came out ok between the two of us.

i found that this shoot needed a much longer focal length, even with the 70-200mm on the cropped body to get good results. sadly these cost a fortune.

KEW GARDENS SHOOT

For this next shoot at Kew gardens I went with my tripod and my 35mm 1.4 lens to Kew gardens to view their christmas show. This is an event that takes place every christmas and is a great way to get into the christmas spirit

The issue I was having with this shoot was the tripod I have is getting on a bit and was struggling at the best of times with the 5D MK iii and 35 mm prime lens I was using. Hopefully a new tripod is on the cards for the new year.
