2025 - A Review
Oh 2025 - what a year. Trips to the Azores, Serbia and Poland dotted the calendar, and a mid‑year camera upgrade made it one of transition as well as discovery. It was my least prolific year in terms of volume, but not in quality: highlights ranged from garden fox cubs and roosting owls, to drone flights over volcanic crater lakes and tea plantations. And lets not forget the new trail camera capturing images of a wild European wolf in Poland ! Memorable, varied, and unforgettable it had it all. So As I have done in the past, below are some of my best and most memorable pictures from the year that was 2025.
So thats a wrap on 2025, and with some big changes afoot in 2026, my photography will most likely take a totally different turn once again. The new Nikon camera and lens will (i hope) still get a run out, but I have a strange feeling that my 2026 review might be slightly thin on the ground come next January. Lets hope however that there are plenty more opportunities to be had and I can continue on my photo journey wherever it may lead me.
