Black Friday (Pretty Like The Sun)
So apparently looking after a child will severely limit the time you have left in the day to go out and take photos…who knew?. This minor issue, plus heatwave after heatwave this summer did ultimately limit my time to get out and about but when I did, I was able to capture some images I am happy with using mainly the Nikon z8 and 180-600 lens.
Juvenile animals and birds dominated my wildlife photography for a while with fledging long tailed tits, swallows, green woodpecker and even a black redstart making up the highlights.
Even the resident blackbird was struggling in the heat. With temperatures reaching 36-37 it was relentless.
All this nice weather did mean that the yearly Bristol balloon festival was in full swing. As I now apparently rise at 5am these days, a trip over to Bristol observatory to see the morning lift off at 6am seemed like a good idea….
I end the blog with a couple of my favourites of Fox who is 3 months old now. Time flying already way too fast….
